As we are a student team that is dependent on help from companies or other organizations, we need a professional connection to business life. That’s where you come in! You’ll be the face of Green Team Twente to businesses; youll contact new companies but also maintain contact with partners that have been with us for years.

What is in it for you?

You will get a lot of experience in dealing with different types of companies and organizations. Not only will it be about financial support or other types of partnerships, but also about what Green Team Twente can offer to them! You’ll learn about the different drives of companies and people, expand your network, work on your soft- and hard skills and more than that, be part of a great, fun yet professional team for a year!

What do we expect from you?

We expect you to be available for at least 8 hours a week. Most of these hours have to be made during working days between 9 and 5, since this is the best time to reach companies.

Every year, Green Team Twente has new members that push the boundary of sustainable mobility by building one of the most efficient hydrogen cars. You will work together with international, like-minded and extremely motivated students, you will acquire knowledge from experts and you will travel through Europe (or even further) to participate in Eco-Marathons.

Having won the prestigious Shell Eco-Marathon (over 250 teams competing) in 2012 and 2017 and 2019 and ending up third two times, Green Team Twente is one of the world’s top teams in efficiency racing. We are the first international student team of the UT consisting of engineering, design, business and social science students.


We offer a unique team composition consisting of both full-time and part-time members. A wide range of positions is available, both technical and non-technical. You can learn how to get in touch with companies, organize multiple large-scale events, manage a big and complex team and of course engineer high-tech systems. There are also possibilities for a minor with several studies: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical engineering, Industrial design, Advanced Technology, Creative Technology and Applied Physics. Most of the minors are 15 ECs, whlie some are 5 ECs. You can check with your study adviser whether this is a possibility for you.
