Our journey at FSN begins! With months of preparation and hard work behind us, this blog will take your through the experience of our team at our first race: Formula Student Netherlands. Here we will write updates about how everything is going to take you with us on our journey.

On a sunny Friday morning we loaded the final supplies into our partner Heisterkamp’s truck. The clock struck half past 3, and we bid farewell to our office, hitting the road towards FSN at the TT Assen circuit. We reached the circuit on time, and without wasting a moment, our team split into two groups to efficiently set up our camp. Half of us quickly put up the tents, while the other half headed to the storage area to unload our tools and our Formula Student car, Apollo GDO. The way everything was put up swiftly showed that we’ve already been working together as a team since September. After getting settled in, it was time to take a breather and cool down from the heat. We had dinner together and bonded with our neighboring student teams. After this we all went to sleep to get some rest for the work ahead.

The next day started with a collective breakfast, where we fueled ourselves for the day of work that lay ahead. As the pits were not yet open the technical team worked on the car in the Dynamic Events area. The mechanical sub team focused on preparing the car for scrutineering, which we will have early in the morning tomorrow.

The first two days have already been very exciting and we are curious to how it will go tomorrow!
