This week October 12, 13, and 14 we were present at the Vakbeurs Zero Emission Ecomobiel. Here, all kinds of solutions to the sustainable transport problem were presented. We were able to connect with many other companies and projects, and discuss the different approaches to our shared goal.
Next to that, Ecomobiel collaborated with Kivi Engineering Society in organizing the Kivi VT Best Student Team Award. Green Team Twente was nominated together with Electric Superbike Twente, Forze Hydrogen Racing, Inmotion Eindhoven, and URE Eindhoven. The jury looked at how the teams innovate to add to long-term trends in the automotive industry. After sharing our pitches the jury decided to make us second, between Inmotion at the first place and URE as third.

When it was our turn to pitch, Benthe, our communication manager, told the crowd about her experience so far and the reason why she joined Green Team. “We need to find sustainable energy sources, but at the same time innovate on storing this energy. This is where hydrogen can be applied. The only emission produced when using hydrogen is water” Benthe continues to explain more about the team and the achievements from past years.
The other days we could be found at our stand in the Brabanthallen. Here, we showcased our car and explained the many interested about what we do. We really enjoyed ourselves and would love to come back next year!
