This week, we are participating in the competition of the Shell Eco-Marathon (SEM) Challenger Event in Holland. We arrived yesterday at our campsite and checked in at Circuitpark Berghem. This race is a qualifier race for the SEM Europe in London. Although we already have been qualified, this race is a good test for us!
Today we had the technical inspection and we came through it eventually! After a small leak in the hydrogen system had been fixed and some small electronic tweaks had been made, the inspectors were convinced. They gave us the highly valued technical inspection-pass badge. With this badge, Green Team Twente was the first hydrogen team that was allowed to go on track!
At the end of the day we got to test at the track and made some laps! All the laptimes were below the times that we hoped, so that is very promising! The data will be processed later, but for now we are very positive about the results.
