Dear hydrogen enthusiasts,
At first, I hope that you and all your relations are safe and healthy during this weird time, which is most important. The Corona crisis has also influenced our daily work for Green Team Twente. We all work from home and do meetings via skype, zoom, meet, teams or other online platforms. Our measures have resulted in that the team members are still healthy and we hope to keep it this way.
Unfortunately, we also have some disappointing news. As you may have heard: Shell has cancelled the Shell Eco-Marathon. It is definitely the best choice during this time but still disappointing for the team.
Is our year now immediately over?
No definitely not! We keep on working to build the most efficient hydrogen-powered car in the world. We are still planning to race if the situation lets us. This will be a small-scale event with two other student teams from the Netherlands, where we can test the efficiency of our car. This event will only be hosted if the situation is safe enough to let us.
Also, we will not be hosting our car presentation on the 30th of April. However, this does not mean that we will not organise an event like this in the near future. We hope that we can update you soon with more information about the car presentation and the options for us to still race with our car.
